July 2005 Entel "Man Down" on HX400 Launch

Entel are aiming
to have the "Man Down" feature available for
the second generation HX400 transceivers by the end
of October. Man down sends an emergency sequence
of tones if the wearer's radio passes a 45 degree angle.
Ideal for lone workers.
This complements the existing lone worker facility
and emergency button on the HX420 and HX480.
This will be available on the HX421 (VHF) and HX481
(UHF) handsets. The second generation offer extended
features to the first generation HX420 and HX480.
These include Alpha Numeric Channel Naming and Selcall.
A graphic display is also due for launch at the same
time.
