London Bridge Hospital overhaul Radio system

London Bridge Hospital was opened in 1986 and is one of six owned by HCA, Hospital Corporation of America.  Ot is located in a commanding position on the south bank of the Thames and had previously been using non-licensed radios for it's onsite communications.  Upon site survey it was confirmed that there were several blind spots in areas regularly used by their lone workers.

With staff safety and security of paramount importance they have invested in a new licensed system designed and provided by ETS with a repeater and the Entel HX481 handsets. Making full use of both the lone worker functionality and panic button within the handset, the system has now been rolled out from reception, porters and engineering to cover additional departments and is being utilised throughout the site by security, theatres, x-rays, day surgery as well as the major emergency response team.

Choosing ETS as their preferred supplier and Entel's HX481 not only for it's quality and functionality but also it's reliability, Andy Dawson, Front of House Manager said that the new system has "significantly increased our capability in terms of communications within the hospital".
