Over the years ETS have had many enquiries for portable tracking units for trailers, generators, plant, machinery, skips, high value loads and consignments and even traffic lights.
Due to tracking units needing antennas which need to see sky we have previously only been able to offer the non-GPS Boomerang Box which uses cell triangulation and a radio beacon to locate any stolen assets.
Now we are able to provide the Ocellus S100 solution manufactured by QinetiQ one of the leading military GPS solution providers. Compact in a rugged enclosure, convenient and easy to install, the integrated GPS antenna within the unit allows completely portable and transferable tracking for rapid deployment as required.
The Ocellus S100 will determine when the asset is moving or not to enable it to save power when stationary, providing a 5 day battery life. Requiring just a 4 hour charge, the unit is ready to go again in no time. Alternatively, we can install wiring to the asset if it has a battery providing the Ocellus S100 with permanent power.
Alerts can be set up advising of vehicles entering or leaving geofences so that you receive and e-mail or SMS advising you in real time that an unauthorised movement has occured.
Using the Foretrack system which ETS and their customers have used for several years, you can follow your assets every five minutes when moving and with hourly updates when stationary.
As the unit is portable you also have the flexibility to move the units around your assets as required protecting them when necessary and removing the Ocellus S100 when they are safe in the yard.
